Enamel French COFFEE BIGGIN, pink, hand painted cornflowers, french antique enamelware, Antique pink enamel coffee pot early 1900’s.

DESCRIPTION:
Very lovely antique French pink enameled coffee pot with no filter dating to early 1900’s.
The antique pink enamel coffee pot is shaded in pink and it is decorated by hand painted blue cornflowers, the decoration has been made with tecnique known as “à main levée”, which reminds very much to watercolors tecnique.
Tones are very lovely: blue, granate, light green and deep green. The decoration is present also on the back side in a simpler version.
Riveted handle and fluted pouring. This coffee pot is signed with B 17 hand painted in black, this model is presented also in the book “La cafetière de ma grand-mère”, Tome 2, written by Veronique Quellier-Guillois.

HOW TO USE IT:
Wonderful addition to your collection of vintage enamelware and kitchenalia, especially if you search pink enamelware, This coffee pot will give a perfect French retrò touch to your home decor!

CONDITIONS:
Conditions are good, to signal only some rusty dings located around the base, on lid’s knob and border. Interior is enough clean, with some traces of rust, bottom is intact.

MEASURES:
This antique coffee pot is tall 8 1/2″ (22 cm) including the high filter and lid. Base diameter 5 1/4″ (13.3 cm).
