Description
Wonderful and rare antique French enameled coffee pot with tall filter dating ca to the 1910’s-1920’s, the background is shaded from light pink to white, the coffee biggin shows a stenciled and air-brushed decoration featuring pansies in tons of dark pink, pale yellow, pale grey, purple and green, the decoration is present on the filter and repeated in a simpler versionon on the other side of the coffee pot.
The coffee biggin has a hand painted number to the bottom, reading 266, I think this coffee pot has been produced by Japy manufactury.
MEASURES:
Tall 12 1/2″ (31.8 cm), base diameter is 5 1/8″ (13 cm).
HOW TO USE IT:
A very special addition to your collection of vintage enamelware and kitchenalia, especially if you collect pink enamelware!
CONDITION:
This antique coffee pot shows some rusted dings located to the lid’s knob, to the edges, on the handles’ attaches, on the pouring and on one side, a few centimeters over the base, please look well at all the photos.
The product has imperfections or a patina due to its age, as can be seen in the photos. Please take a close look at the pictures before making your purchase!
