Enameled Belgian Kitchen canisters set 5 pots, enameled spice pots Etoile PEN, red pots with violets & edelweiss decor, vintage kitchenalia.
MEASURES:
The largest pot is 7 1/4″ (18.4 cm) tall, base diameter is 4 7/8″ (12.3 cm).
The second pot is 6 3/4″ (17.1 cm) tall, base diameter is 4 1/2″ (11.4 cm).
The third pot is 6 1/4″ (15.8 cm) tall, base diameter is 4 1/8″ (10.5 cm).
The fourth pot is 5 7/8″ (14.8 cm) tall, base diameter is 3 3/4″ (9.5 cm).
The smallest pot is 5 1/2″ (14 cm) tall, base diameter is 3 1/4″ (8.2 cm).
DESCRIPTION:
Wonderful and very and rare Belgian enameled antique spice pots set, composed by five pots.
The spice pots have red base and hand painted decor of violets and edelweiss, the decor is raised, there are tons of white, yellow, purple and green, gilded details.
This model is named “Rouge Impérial”, these pots are signed Etoile PEN, the most important enemelware manufactory in Belgium, located in Namur, known as Emaillerie de Saint Servais, the manufactory was transformed into a company in 1880, named ” Société Nouvelle des Produits Emaillés et Etamés des Saint Servais lèz Namur”, hence the initials placed under the articles: P. E. N., accompanied by the term “Etoile”. These pots date to the very early 1900’s.

HOW TO USE THEM:
This is really a wonderful and rare French kitchen canisters set ready to use and to add to your collection of antique French enamelware!

CONDITION:
This set of 5 antique spice pots is in good antique condition, the decorations are intact, there are small rusty dings located mainly to edges and to lids’ knobs, the interior of the jars show rust traces, there are no holes.

The product has imperfections or a patina due to its age, as can be seen in the photos. Please take a close look at the pictures before making your purchase!
