DESCRIPTION:
Very lovely French enameled Drip Tray or kitchen utensil rack with its 2 original ladles, circa 1920’s – 1930’s. This old kitchen utensil rack has decoration of red and white checks in the typical “Lustucru” style. Some history: enameled kitchen items with a checkered design were used as advertising premiums in France during 1920’s-1930’s. “Per Lustucru” noodles brand launched an advertising campaign, either blue and white or red and white check design enameled ware (such as pans, canister set, coffee biggin, salt box, etc…) were offered to devoted housewives who clipped portions of the product packings to accumulate points. So the checkered French enamelware of this period was long associated with the image of Per Lustucru brand.

CONDITIONS:
This antique enameled drip tray is in good conditions with just some rusty located to edges and to the hanging bar fixing area, and, as you can see from photos, is very clean and usable.
The 2 ladles have some chips to handles and larger one also to the concave part, visible more in exterior side that in interior side.

MEASURES:
18 3/4″ (47.7 cm) tall, 14″ (35.5 cm) across at widest point, and 4″ (10 cm) deep.
Ladles are: 14 1/14″ (36.3 cm) long and 12 3/4″ (32.5 cm) long.
