DESCRIPTION:
Lovely antique French enamelware: a coffee pot with filter from 1920’s-1930’s, red base and white checks, in one of the many variants of the famous pattern called “Lustucru”.
Some history: enameled kitchen items with a checkered design were used as advertising premiums in France during 1920’s-1930’s. “Per Lustucru” noodles brand launched an advertising campaign, either blue and white or red and white check design enameled ware (such as pans, canister set, coffee biggin, salt box, etc…) were offered to devoted housewives who clipped portions of the product packings to accumulate points. So the checkered French enamelware of this period was long associated with the image of Per Lustucru brand.

CONDITIONS:
Conditions of this coffee pot are good for its age, there are just a few chips interior has traces of rust.
