Description
Vintage Green Enamel Fish Pendant
Charming vintage articulated fish pendant from the 1970s, produced in China for the Western export market.
The pendant is crafted in gold tone metal with colorful enamel decoration. The back of the fish shows beautiful shading from white to bright emerald green, while the underside features soft turquoise tones.
Small accents of coral orange enamel highlight the stylized fish design and add contrast to the vibrant colors.
The body is composed of articulated segments, allowing the fish to move naturally and giving the pendant a lively sculptural appearance.
Because of its elegant shape and movement, the design also recalls the form of a koi fish pendant, traditionally associated with luck and perseverance in Asian symbolism.
With its compact dimensions, this piece works well as a small vintage charm pendant or nautical jewelry piece.
