Here is a very lovely and rare French ceramic salt box, dating to the 1940’s, airbrushed and stenciled decoration with carnations, daisies and mimosas, body of the box milk white, decoration is in shades of red, yellow and green, red lettering of the word “Sel” (salt), wooden lid. The salt box has the mark of the famous French manufacture Digoin Sarreguemines, this is the rare model called “Maite”.

Very good conditions, there are no chips and no hairlines, the wooden lid has no ruptures and woodworm holes.
