Very lovely and rare antique Belgian enameled coffee pot with high filter dating to the early 1900’s.
The coffee pot has a deep red base with raised decoration in “thick enamel” featuring violets and edelweiss flowers, in tones of white, yellow, light grey, violet and different tones of green. Gilded fillets and details are partially visible and the enamel is bright.
This peculiar tone of red is called “Rouge Imperial”, it has been produced by the famous Belgian manufacture Saint Servais, this coffee pot is signed “Etoile PEN”, signature used by the manufacture of Saint Servais.

This antique French coffee pot is really special, a piece not to miss in your collection of antique French enamelware and kitchenalia, especially if you do love the color red!

Conditions of this coffee pot are good, to signal one ding to filter handle and edges, another rusty ding is located near the spout and one to the coffee pot lid and on the lid’s knob. Interior of the filter is rusty and stained, there are holes on the filter bottom.
Decoration is intact and the colors are very lovely and bright. Interior of the coffee shows traces of rust and use.
This coffee pot is tall 12 5/8″ (32 cm) and has a base diameter 5 1/2″ (14.2 cm) wide.
