Description
Antique ENAMELED PITCHER, light green shades, airbrush & stencil iris flowers, Japy pitcher, Antique enamel pitcher, antique enamelware.
DESCRIPTION:
Very lovely enameled water pitcher that was surely part of a toilette set, the pitcher has roundish shape, it has light green shades and airbrushed ans stenciled decoration featuring iris flowers, in tone of purple, bordeaux red, yellow, dark pink and green, cobalt blue fillet around the edge. This enemeled pitcher is not signed (many enameled pieces simply had a paper label and no signature) but it has surely been produced by Japy manufacture, dating circa to years 1920’s.
HOW TO USE IT:
Very lovely antique enameled water pitcher for your collection of antique French enamelware, it will give a lovely French touch to your home decor! This antique pitcher is really perfect to use for fresh flowers!
CONDITIONS:
Conditions of this enameled pitcher are very good, decoration is perfect with very bright colors, the only issues to signal are one small rusty ding to handle and around the upper edge. Bottom is intact, interior is very clean without traces of rust, the pitcher is water tight but my advice if you would like to use it for fresh flowers is to put flowers with water inside a glass pot and hide it inside the pitcher.
MEASURES:
This pitcher is 10 1/8″ (25.7 cm) tall and it’s about 9 1/4″ (23.5 cm) max wide including handle, about 6 1/4″ (15.8 cm) without handle .
