Delightful antique French apron for a baby girl or a large doll, dating to Edwardian era.
The apron is made from light beige color tulle net, there is soutache embroidery around edges and hand made lace, there are two small pockets on the front side, embellished with rococò ribbonwork rosettes appliques, in tons of pale yellow and green, another ribbonwork rosettes is applied on the bib, the sides are fixed with braided silk cord.
This antique baby apron is perfect to wear, to study, to collect or to display.
The antique apron has a lovely antique patina, with small spots due to aging, there are also some small holes to the tulle net, the silk ribbonwork rosettes are in good condition.
