Antique French beige dress, late Edwardian era afternoon dress or tea dress made in beige lawn, embroidered violets & net lace inserts.
Very lovely antique French dress dating to the late Edwardian era (circa 1910’s), the dress is made from light beige batiste – lawn, it high-waisted, it is embroidered with raising motif of violets and small flowers, there are inserts of net lace with violets and flowers motif at the yoke, sleeves and the skirt, 3/4 sleeves.
The front closure is made with small snaps, to one side of the dress, the dress is very well wearable, it would need a lovely sash or a belt to complete the outfit.

The dress is in good antique condition, there are brown stains and spots, due to aging.
