DESCRIPTION:
Beautiful 1940s brooch crafted from silver-tone metal, depicting a slender female hand adorned with long red enamel nails. The hand is embellished with jewelry, featuring a pink glass stone bracelet and a green glass stone ring. This brooch captures the surrealistic style popular in the 1940s, embraced by renowned fashion houses like Elsa Schiaparelli’s Maison. Although unbranded, a similar design called “Friendship” was produced by Coro in 1944.

CONDITION:
The brooch features a roll-over clasp with a small hook missing, yet it remains securely fastened. The enamel on the nails is flawless.
