Vintage French Perfume Box Set with Handwritten Note – Antique Velvet Case & Fragrance Bottles from 1800s.

Crafted by the renowned Parisian perfumery A. Agnel, these bottles once held concentrated scented essence for perfumed handkerchiefs. A handwritten note inside the box tells the touching story of this gift from parents to daughter, dated February 22, 1897, adding a personal and sentimental touch to its charm.

Parfumerie Agnel, established in 1858 by Alexandre Cesar Napoleon Agnel, was renowned for its fine fragrances, winning gold medals at the Paris exhibitions of 1900 and 1925. Despite closing its doors in 1958, the legacy of Agnel perfumery lives on through timeless treasures like this one.
