Vintage huipil blouse from Guatemala, hand woven & hand embroidered huipil, purple color huipil with floral embroidery and stylized birds.
MEASURE:
34″ (86.3 cm) wide, 32 1/4″ (82 cm) long.
DESCRIPTION:
Wonderful vintage huipil from Santigo Atitlàn, Guatemala, hand woven and hand embroidered.
The huipil base has stripes in dark purple and lilac, it is embroidered around the neck with a motif of large flowers, in tons of pale pink, beige, mauve, blush pink, terracotta, yellow and pale green, there are also embroideries showing stylized birds, hand embroidered birds and flowers are a feature of this small town on Lake Atitlàn.
The sides of the huipil are open so it can be worn, framed or used to make beautiful cushions.
CONDITION:
Very good vintage condition, there are no issues to signal.
