Vintage TIN spice BOXES set, beige with cherries design, French tin boxes for spices, set of three boxes, collectable tin boxes for spices, dating ca 1930’s.
MEASURES
Pates box: diameter 3 5/8″ (9.2 cm), 4 1/4″ tall (10.8 cm).
Chicorée box: diameter 3 1/8″ (8 cm), 3 1/2″ tall (8.8 cm).
Poivre box: diameter 2 3/4″ (7 cm), 3″ (7.6 cm) tall.
DESCRIPTION
Wonderful vintage tin boxes set for spices, spice pots made from tin, beige base and a pretty design of stenciled cherries in tones of red, deep green, brown and black, black lettering. Boxes are three ones, they are for Pates, Chicorée and Poivre (Pasta, Chicory and Pepper).
These tin boxes set date ca to years 1930’s – 1940’s.
HOW TO USE IT
Very cute and collectable spice pots set for your collection of antique kitchenalia! Really perfect gift idea and wonderful to use as vintage storage boxes in the decoration of your French inspired kitchen!
CONDITIONS
Conditions of this antique set of tin spice boxes are good for their age, with great age patina and some scratches, there are traces of rust, light deformation for some lids but they close very well, decoration is still very well visible and colors are very bright. Interior of the boxes is rusty. The box Pates has the decoration a bit faded.
The product has imperfections or a patina due to its age, as can be seen in the photos. Please take a close look at the pictures before making your purchase!
